1. What Somi collects

On your device (browser): your mood journal entries, chat conversations, routine preferences and streaks are stored in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device. We cannot see them, and they are never transmitted to our servers, except for the messages you choose to send to the companion (below).

Companion messages: when you use the companion, the text of your messages is sent to our server so a language model can generate a response. Messages are not stored on our servers after delivery. If the companion engine is not configured, conversations stay entirely on your device.

Email: only if you subscribe to Somi Pro, your email is used to associate your payment with your access and to send receipts. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. — we never see or store your card number.

The Android app follows this same policy; the Google Play listing links to this page. The Android free tier may display advertising served by Google AdMob under Google's privacy policy.

2. How we use data

To deliver the service you asked for: companion responses, mood insights, subscription activation and support replies. We do not sell personal data. We do not use your journal or mood data for advertising.

3. Third parties

• Stripe (payments): subscriptions, billing and cancellation are handled by Stripe under their own privacy policy.
• Companion provider (DeepSeek): companion messages are processed by the language model provider only where enabled.
• Cloudflare: this site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; standard request logs (IP, user agent) may be kept for security.

4. Data deletion

You can delete all journal, mood and chat data at any time from Settings → Clear my data inside Somi, or by clearing this site's browsing data. To remove your subscription, use Settings → Manage subscription. To request deletion of the email linked to your subscription, contact francis@loadcircle.co.uk.

5. Children

Somi is not directed at children under 13. In jurisdictions with higher thresholds (such as the EU at 16), we apply that threshold. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

6. Changes

If material changes are made, this page will be updated with a new date, and we may notify you in the app.
